I loved the hotel facilities, especially the amazing pool and beautiful gardens. Also, the location was perfect, very close to the beach with free umbrellas and in a quiet area, yet still within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I had a wonderful stay.
Nothing to be said.

The hotel created a GREAT environment. Generally, it's gorgeous place, loved it. Rooms are large and the bed is comfortable. There's plenty of restaurants to choose from, like Casita Suiza, set within 5 minutes walk or so.

The hotel itself is lovely & the breakfast is great. Unfortunately we just stayed during a very quiet time.
The pool was empty as I believe it was being cleaned. It was the perfect place to just sit by the pool, so it was disappointing that it wasn't possible during our stay.

We spent New Year's Eve in a gorgeous hotel with great facilities. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in a beautiful garden. the staff was welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with whatever we needed. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the lively town center and the beautiful beach. We also loved the comfortable beds and the amazing pool.
The hot water in the shower was very unreliable. Sometimes it was too hot, sometimes too cold.

Charming Greek style boutique hotel, just a hop from the beach (around 5 minutes walk). Lovely continental breakfast served as buffet (toast, croissant, ham, cheese, jam, fruit salad and cakes). Our room was spacious with a terrace to the garden/pool.
The room is called "Junior Suite" but it is more or less a superior room. For a "Junior Suite" the room is too small and facilities like a sofa, table with chairs etc. are missing. At the reception was only partly staff available. All in all you should know at least a little Spanish to get your information if the English speaking receptionist is not available. And you always should think that you are on holidays there so keep relax if you have to wait at the reception until somebody is coming or you try it in one or two hours again.

We stayed at the Kala a few days ago and the experience was perfect. The hotel is well located in a peaceful area of busy La Barra. The hotel and the rooms are exactly as look in the photos. Rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. The heating was perfect as it was quite a cold week-end. Breakfast well served. Staff very helpful and courteous. I thoroughly recommend it! Will deffinitely adopt it for our future stays in Punta del Este!

The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and offers free umbrellas to guests. the area is peaceful and perfect for those seeking relaxation. the rooms are clean and comfortable with good size and comfortable beds. Breakfast is enjoyable with a variety of options.
The hotel's staff is unresponsive, and our complaints about the broken shower went unattended throughout the entire 5-day stay.

Had a great time during Easter at the hotel. Loved the breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. The hotel is conveniently located near the cafes and restaurants. It also has a close proximity to the beaches which was a plus.
The service was not good. The staff seemed limited and when an issue was raised, it was not addressed.
